Organisation & Data

The Organisation & data tab contains the organisation-level controls for naming, exporting, testing, and destructive actions.

Organisation Details

This section shows the display name of your organisation. Admins can update that name here.

Exporting Data (Admin Only)

Use export when you want a backup of your organisation data or need the raw data for analysis.

Click Export all data. While the export is being prepared, the button shows Exporting.... When it is ready, Workable downloads a .zip file that contains CSV and JSON exports.

Note

The export includes your configuration and inputs. Calculated outputs such as a generated schedule timeline are not included in the static export files.

Sample Data (Admin Only)

If you are testing Workable, these tools help you fill or clear the workspace quickly.

• Populate: Fills your organisation with example data
• Clear: Deletes the sample data

Leaving the Organisation

If you no longer want to be part of the organisation, click Leave this organisation and confirm your choice.

If you are the only Admin, you cannot leave until you promote another member to Admin status. If you are also the current Billing Manager, you must transfer Billing Manager first.

Deleting the Organisation (Admin Only)

This is a destructive action that permanently removes the organisation.

Click Confirm deletion, type the organisation’s name exactly as shown, and then click Delete Organization.

Caution

Deleting an organisation is irreversible. All plans, people, history, and the active subscription are immediately deleted or cancelled. Data cannot be recovered.
