Quick start

Want to try Workable right away? Follow these steps to get you from a blank workspace to a first schedule with the least setup possible.

  1. Sign up and verify your email.
  2. Load sample data using the Load sample data option available in a new account. This adds indicative people, skills, and plans so you can explore quickly.
  3. Open a sample plan from the Plans page to see how the example data is structured.
  4. Build the schedule to generate your first timeline from the sample plan.
  5. Review the results in the Schedule tab and the Resource Allocation tab.
  6. Make a few changes to the sample projects, skills, or people, then rebuild the schedule to see how the results change.

You can refine or replace the sample data later. This path is meant to help you explore the features quickly and understand how scheduler changes affect the outcome.
