Managing Teams

Teams help you reflect your real organisation structure inside Workable. They are useful for visibility, filtering, and some staffing workflows, even though the scheduler still makes its decisions primarily from skills and availability.

Go to ResourcesTeams, create the teams that match your organisation, and then assign people to them. Once teams are in place, you can use them to understand capacity and allocation by department or function.

Teams are mainly an organisational layer. Team membership on its own does not drive scheduling decisions; the scheduler still works from skills and availability.
